Description =========== Research on Agents and Multi-Agent Systems has matured during the last decade and many effective applications of this technology are now deployed. SARL-18 provides an international forum to present and discuss the latest scientific developments and their effective applications, to assess the impact of the approach, and to facilitate technology transfer. SARL workshop borns with the SARL agent programming language, but the scientific results presented in SARL-19 are not restricted to SARL; other languages and agent platforms may be presented. SARL aims at providing the fundamental abstractions for dealing with concurrency, distribution, interaction, decentralization, reactivity, autonomy and dynamic reconfiguration. These high-level features are now considered as the major requirements for an easy and practical implementation of modern complex software applications. We are convinced that the agent-oriented paradigm holds the keys to effectively meet this challenge. Considering the variety of existing approaches and meta-models in the field of agent-oriented engineering and more generally multi-agent systems, our approach remains as generic as possible and highly extensible to easily integrate new concepts and features. The goal of SARL-19 is to provides a place where the different points of view on the modeling and the simulation with agent platforms and agent programming languages may be discussed. Acquiring a forensic copy of seized data mediums already takes several hours due to the increasing storage size. These steps have to be repeated for every physical device examined in the criminal case. Conventional digital forensics data preprocessing and analysis methods struggle when handling the contemporary variety, variability, volume and velocity of case data. Thus, proactive approaches have to be developed and integrated in daily law enforcement operations; for timely detection and prevention of the illegal activities in a data-intensive environments. In the last decades, the increasing power of computers has allowed to considerably extend the application of computing methodologies in research and industry, but also to the quantitative study of complex phenomena. This has permitted a broad application of numerical methods for differential equation systems (e.g., FEM, FDM, etc.) on one hand, and the application of alternative computational paradigms, such as Cellular Automata, Genetic Algorithms, Neural networks, Swarm Intelligence, etc., on the other. These latter have demonstrated their effectiveness for modelling purposes when traditional simulation methodologies have proven to be impracticable. Following the success of our past HPCMS workshops we are glad to invite you to our sixth edition which will take place in Pavia (Italy). An important mission of the HPCMS Workshop is to provide a platform for a multidisciplinary community composed of scholars, researchers, developers, educators, practitioners and experts from world leading Universities, Institutions, Agencies and Companies in Computational Science, and thus in the High Performance Computing for Modelling and Simulation field. --- CALL FOR PAPERS 18th International Symposium on Experimental Algorithms (SEA 2019) June 24-29, 2019, Kalamata, Greece http://www.caopt.com/SEA2019/ SEA (Symposium on Experimental Algorithms), previously known as WEA (Workshop on Experimental Algorithms), is an international forum for researchers in the area of design, analysis, and experimental evaluation and engineering of algorithms, as well as in various aspects of combinatorial optimization and its applications. The preceding symposia were held in Riga, Monte Verit?, Rio de Janeiro, Santorini, Menorca Island, Rome, Cape Cod, Dortmund, Ischia Island, Crete, Bordeaux, Rome, Copenhagen, Paris, St. Petersburg, London, and L'Aquila. SEA aims to attract papers from both the Computer Science and the Operations Research/Mathematical Programming communities. Final proceedings papers must be camera-ready in this format. A clearly marked Appendix, which will not count toward the 12 page submission limit, can be included and will be read at the referees? discretion.
