Student Research Symposium (SRS) @ HiPC 2024 December 18-21, 2024 Bengaluru, India HiPC 2024 will feature the 16th Student Research Symposium (SRS) on High-Performance Computing, Data, and Analytics (HPC), aimed at stimulating and fostering student research and providing an international forum to highlight student research accomplishments. The symposium will be an integrated part of the main HiPC conference aiming to expose students to the best practices in HPC in academia and industry. The symposium will feature student posters and provide students with other enriching experiences, such as workshops, industry exhibits, and demos. HiPC will provide limited travel support to one author of selected posters. Awards for Best Poster will be presented at the symposium. ROCS Workshop: 1st RecOnfigurable Computing and Systems Workshop 2024 Dec 18, 2024 Bengaluru, India In conjunction with the 31st IEEE International Conference on High-Performance Computing, Data, & Analytics (HiPC 2024) Call for Papers: Reconfigurable computing involves using hardware that can be dynamically reprogrammed to optimize performance for specific tasks. Heterogeneous computing combines different types of compute elements to handle diverse workloads efficiently. Field-Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs) are mainly used for reconfigurable computing, and are crucial for high-performance computing applications and accelerating machine learning (ML) applications. The Reconfigurable Computing and Systems Workshop (ROCS) is the first edition running in conjunction with HIPC, aimed at attracting participants to discuss aspects of reconfigurable and heterogeneous computing systems. The broad topics of interest include FPGA-based accelerators, programming methodologies, heterogeneous computing, applications such as ML acceleration, embedded systems, IoT devices, telecommunications, data center accelerators, software programmability, tool support and related areas.
